HEALTH NG Mini Projects Call - Deadline 30th September 2010
This year the Health Sciences and Practice Mini Project call is once again in conjunction with the Subject Centre for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine(MEDEV) call.
We are inviting proposals under any of the following themes, relating to the education of health and social care professionals:
- Developing practice education for students
- Employability and employee learning
- Education for Sustainable Development
- Enhancing learning through technology
- External examining
- Implications of a devolved United Kingdom
- Reward & Recognition
- Student engagement including the National Student Survey
You will be asked to indicate how the theme of your project fits into the current priority areas of the Higher Education Academy, as follows:
- Flexibility of Learning
- Graduate impact
- Better Teaching
We are particularly interested in applications which span three or four professions across the disciplines of the two subject centres, i.e. at least one from Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine and at least one from Nursing, Allied Health Professions, Public Health, Pharmacy and the Therapies.

The projects will start in January 2011 and run for 12 months until January 2012.

Please note that we shall require an electronic copy of the lead person's CV, and that of other main applicants, and, after the successful bid, signatures from the head of department or equivalent. Final selection will be made by our panel of reviewers. Feedback will be offered to all who submitted a proposal. Successful projects will be assigned a named contact person from the subject network. All our current and completed projects are listed on the website.
