HPC Consultation on proposed changes to the generic standards of proficiency

This Health Professions Council consultation is open between: 28/07/2010 - 20/10/2010

The Health professions Council are committed to engaging with our stakeholders, and taking account of their views and input in the way that we carry out our work. One of the ways in which we do this is by consulting when we are planning a new area of work, or planning to change the way that we do something.

This consultation seeks your views on the proposed changes to the generic standards of proficiency.

The standards of proficiency are the standards that we consider necessary for the safe and effective practice of professions we regulate.
The changes are being proposed to ensure that the generic standards are applicable to all the professions we regulate.
