Towards a Framework of Professional Teaching Standards
You are probably aware to the consultation with regard to a 'framework of professional teaching standards'
Universities UK, SCOP and the HE Funding Councils are proposing that the Higher Education Academy take forward the development of national professional standards in teaching and learning in HE. The HE Academy is working collaboratively with these organisations in the first phase to consult the UK HE sector and other representative bodies to take forward this development. A consultation paper has recently been circulated by Universities UK and SCOP to invite open discussion throughout the HE sector to inform and advise the Higher Education Academy on taking this work forward. The deadline for all consultation responses is 19th July, and should be forwarded to Universities UK and SCOP.
The Higher Education Academy is organising a series of consultation seminars to give the HE sector the opportunity to discuss the paper and give your comments and suggestions to the Academy. Follow the link below for the consultation document, further details or to register for a seminar.
