The 'Celebrating the Past and Embracing the Future: Evolution and Innovation in Problem-based Learning' conference was held on the 30-31 March 2011 at the Grange Hotel, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, sponsored by the University of Central Lancashire and the Health Sciences and Practice Subject Centre. The event was attended by members of a number of PBL networks including Ireland, Sweden and Finland.
The presentations and posters were of a high standard and there were many discussions about how PBL can be moved forward in these rapidly changing times.
Please view/download a copy of the Conference Proceedings
(1.5MB).
There were several suggestions for electronic networks (more to come), but in the meantime, please expression your interest at the online Community of Practice site 'Innovations in PBL' at https://sites.google.com/site/innovationsinpbl/
Thank you to everyone who attended and made this an inspirational event.
Many Thanks
Carolyn Gibbon
