This event aims to bring together all those involved in nursing education and skills training wherever it is delivered and whoever delivers it.
Abstracts were invited for concurrent and poster presentations and fell under one of the following conference themes:
- New developments in pre-registration programmes
- Practice placement/mentorship issues
- Innovations in continuing professional development and lifelong learning
- Student experiences
- Health care support worker initiatives
- Changes and developments in primary care workforce and education
- Innovations within workforce development
- Quality assurance of education and training programmes
- Models of good practice in inter professional education
- Impact of the Disability Discrimination Act on education and practice
