2nd International Interprofessional Health and Social Care Conference
This Health and Social Care Conference is the consequence of a partnership that came about after the extremely successful 1st IPE Conference held at the University of Salford in July 2008. This two day conference will bring together academics, policy makers, researchers, practitioners, users, carers and interprofessional agencies within the field of health and social care to create a unique forum for the dissemination and discussion of current research and practices in this field.

This 2nd conference is being organised by a team of staff from the Faculties of Health and Social Care for the University of Salford, Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester University. This is to reflect our professional practice ethos of partnerships and collaboration and embracing policy, evidence based practice and service user need.
The whole two day conference will be entirely dedicated to keynote and abstract presentations, plus dedicated poster sessions. The themes of the conference will address current issues in interprofessional education and practice and bring together current thinking in these specific areas.

- 2nd November 2009 - 12th February 2010, open for abstract submissions
- April 2010, notification of acceptance
- 2nd November - 2nd April early bird rate available (normal registration fees apply from 3rd April 2010)
