We would like to invite you to the second meeting of the E-learning and the First Year Student Experience (ELFYSE) special interest group. Supported by the HEA this SIG is open to practitioners involved in further and higher education and those who are interested in how learning technologies can support the first year experience and the challenges with which institutions and students are faced (transition, retention and progression).

We are lining up a fantastic list of presenters and hope to showcase a number of examples from the sector which will provide food for thought and assist members in exploring some of the issues faced by practitioners. More information and a provisional programme for the day will be posted shortly on our Ning site at www.elfyse.ning.com

This event will take place on the 23rd March at the Orange Studio, Birmingham (http://www.studiovenues.co.uk/).  Places are limited so book now – booking form is attached. Deadline for booking is the 15th of March.
