The All Together Better Health conferences are the leading international interprofessional health and social care symposia. Conference 4 in the series was held in Sweden in June 2008 and was hosted by the Karolinska Institute and Linkoping University. Previous conferences have been successfully hosted by Imperial College, London and the University of British Columbia. The All Together Better Health conferences are supported by InterEd, the international association for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice - a not for profit association.
They see things differently in the southern hemisphere. Therefore, they are encouraging diversity and innovation in the 2010 conference program. There will be diversity in the number, background, culture and experiences of presenters and delegates. Health and social care professionals, practitioners, patients, consumers, administrators, policy makers and especially students are warmly invited to come and share their time and experiences with them. They will encourage discussion and debate, interactivity and international sharing and, in addition, everyone is invited to participate in the development of the Manly Charter to advance interprofessional education, learning and practice over the next two years. The Manly Charter will aim to ensure that the challenging and exciting dialogue from this important conference will continue into the future.
This conference offers an exciting opportunity for Australians and New Zealanders to engage with international thinkers, practitioners and patients. There will be something for all delegates, as well as the opportunity to enjoy one of Australia’s most vibrant cities and the beach culture that makes it so famous.
