Professionalism, professional development and the meaning of ‘profession’ are hotly debated topics. There is also an awareness that interdisciplinary and interprofessional discussion are required to understand these concepts at a time of increasing complexity and divergence between professional groups. The University of Warwick is pleased to convene this interdisciplinary meeting to promote discussion, enable networking and explore common interests in terms of education and research.
