Interprofessional Learning Environments in Wales Workshop
You are invited to attend a workshop on Interprofessional Learning Environments in Wales on the 11th April 2008, University of Cardiff. The workshop will primarily, but not exclusively, focus on the experience of interprofessional learning in Wales. It will aim to include educators in practice and higher education and those responsible for policy development, training and supporting of practice educators, students and those using professional services in health and social care, education and the built environment.

To develop awareness and understanding of the requirements for environments for effective interprofessional learning (in practice learning, classrooms, virtual environments, and policy and management)

To provide a showcase for interprofessional learning in Wales

To include discipline areas within and beyond health and social care, for example, education and the built environment
Outcomes:
- Published notes (key note, presentations, posters, group discussions), with potential for collected papers/occasional paper on IPE in Wales, Interprofessional learning environments, a further event, an IPE Special Interest Group in Wales.
