Summary: This paper develops the topic of the first occasional paper (Interprofessional Education - today, yesterday and tomorrow), which set the issue in historical and current context, as well as discussing future directions. This second paper develops the topic by reviewing systematically the literature on evaluations of interprofessional education. This critical review of evaluations is written by Dr. Della Freeth, Dr Marilyn Hammick, Dr. Ivan Koppel, Scott Reeves, and Professor Hugh Barr, an interprofessional research group from the City, Oxford Brookes and Westminster Universities, and comprising radiography, social work, medicine, sociology and education. This is No 2 in the Occasional Papers Series.
