Public Health Special Interest Group

Welcome

The Public Health SIG is co-ordinated jointly between the Health Science and Practice (HSAP) and Medicine Dentistry and Veterinary (MEDEV) subject centres.

Aims of the SIG

To be open to anyone involved in teaching in public health-related disciplines
Make links with related networks and Special Interest Groups, e.g. Regional Public Health Teaching Networks, Health Promotion Academics
Promote dialogue with professional bodies: e.g. Faculty of Public Health, NMC, Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, HPC
Organise events
Promote collaboration in a variety of public health-related learning and teaching activities
Nurture student involvement in learning and teaching
Develop and share good practice and innovation.
