Public Health Special Interest Group
Welcome
The Public Health SIG is co-ordinated jointly between the Health Science and Practice (HSAP) and Medicine Dentistry and Veterinary (MEDEV) subject centres.
Aims of the SIG
- To be open to anyone involved in teaching in public health-related disciplines
- Make links with related networks and Special Interest Groups, e.g. Regional Public Health Teaching Networks, Health Promotion Academics
- Promote dialogue with professional bodies: e.g. Faculty of Public Health, NMC, Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, HPC
- Organise events
- Promote collaboration in a variety of public health-related learning and teaching activities
- Nurture student involvement in learning and teaching
- Develop and share good practice and innovation.
