1. Indirect collection:
The Health Sciences and Practice Subject Centre web server automatically collects standard information such as a users IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, etc.. Any information collected indirectly will be used by the Subject Centre only:- to monitor the volume, type and pattern of traffic using this website; to develop the design and layout of the website; and for other administrative and planning purposes.
2. Direct collection:
The HSP-Subject Centre collects personal information, such as a user's name and email address, which is provided voluntarily by a user when requesting any of the services provided by the HSP-Subject Centre. The HSP-Subject Centre retains such information in a user database.
All enquiries to the HSP-Subject Centre, whether by email, telephone, facsimile or otherwise may be recorded for the purposes of quality control.
