Position with Centre: Learning and Teaching Consultant - Assessment (until July 2011)

In her role with the centre, Caroline works with the team on the enhancement of assessment in Health Sciences and Practice. In May 2008 Caroline launched the HSAP Assessment SIG, and hopes to develop this further to meet the needs and interests of staff, students, employers across health science disciplines.
Learning and Teaching experience:
Caroline is a Principal Lecturer and Teaching Fellow in the School of Health and Social Sciences at Middlesex University. Within this role she works with both staff and students, teaching on a range of programmes and also working with staff to enhance learning, teaching and assessment practices across the school.
Her clinical background is in nursing, particularly orthopaedics, trauma and accident and emergency work. She currently teaches on the BSc Nursing and BSc European Nursing programmes, and is particularly interested in the development of student nurses exchange opportunities, the promotion of Erasmus opportunities for students and approaches to preparation for practice in Europe.
