Get Involved
We hope you will find many ways to become involved in our Subject Centre activities.
To be kept up to date please join our mailing list. You can then choose to receive a monthly Ebulletin and/or 3 Newsletters per year. These will give you the latest information about events, workshops, Special Interest Groups, articles of interest, funding opportunities and Learning and Teaching Awards. Of course you can also find this information here on our website.
Departments teaching a relevant subject / discipline are invited to nominate a departmental key contact to ensure that two way communication between the Subject Centre and the Department (Faculty or School) is maintained efficiently and effectively. Please find out who your Key Contact is. If there hasn't been one appointed please refer to the terms of reference and consider taking on the role or finding a colleague to do so.
You will have discovered that there is quite a range of disciplines related to Health Sciences and Practice so we have a network of Subject Advisers to field discipline related enquiries for you. You may also wish to offer your expertise in discipline focused learning and teaching, particularly if your discipline has few advisers.
There are a number of Special Interest Groups that meet face to face and online that you can get involved in too.
